Hey there 👋🏽, I'm Alisha!

I use she/her pronouns and publish under Alisha Srivastava. I am currently a Data Science Undergraduate at UMass Amherst, & I am advised by Professor Mohit Iyyer & Chau Minh Pham in the Natural Language Generation and Representation Lab at UMD College Park (NGRAM) and mentored by Dr. Marzena Karpinska from Microsoft. This summer, I will be returning to Fidelity Investments' Digital Assest Management working on Applied Science & Reseach for Digital Assets. In the fall, I will be joining Solaria Labs's Applied Sciences Division, building neural language models for financial applications.

Last summer, at Fidelity Investments' Digital Asset Management, increasing ML predictive accuracy of Digital Asset behavior using alternative data and causal inference. During the school year, I serve as President of UMass Product, leading the think tank on major tech industry events and product thinking seminars. In Summer 2023, I was a Data Science Intern at iQuanti where I tripled efficency of internal document search by developing a novel Retrieval Augmented Generative (RAG) model for Question Answering.
